3 days Peucang Island Tour is a short time trip to Ujung Kulon we design especially for those who want to visit Ujung Kulon National Park but has not so much time to spend.

ITINERARY

DAY 1 : JAKARTA – SUMUR – CIGENTER – PEUCANG ISLAND (B,L,D)

Early morning at 05:00 am, you will be picked up at Jakarta Hotel by our representative. Then proceed to the Border of Ujung Kulon by a private car. On the way to the border of Ujung Kulon, you will have breakfast at the local restaurant around 8 am where you can enjoy a cup of coffee.

After we have had breakfast, we drive to the border which takes around 2,5 hours. Arrival at the border is around 11:00 am, then we cruise to Handeuleum Island situated among a group of small island just off the north eastern coast of the Ujung Kulon Peninsula.

Handeuleum Island area offers river experiences with a variety of forests, wildlife and wetlands in a peaceful location away from the main tourist routes. Meet the ranger park, then we cruise to Cigenter estuary where you will enjoy the beautiful canoe activity at Cigenter River.

The canoe trips up the Cigenter river are somewhat influenced by tides and trees across the river and if conditions are right the canoes can travel deep into the forest. The Cigenter’s waters meanders through dense overhanging rain forest, the habitat of pythons and hornbills where crocodile and the Javan Rhino may also be seen on rare occasions.

The charm of this river lies in its tranquil, primeval beauty. Explore the incredible canoe activity. Then we cruise to Peucang Island by boat which takes around 2 hours approximately, arrival at Peucang Island, check in ( Basic Fauna Lodge).

Explore Peucang Island, the unique and delightful island of Peucang lies in clear blue waters off the north western coastline of the Ujung Kulon Peninsula. Its white-sand beaches and coral reef shores hold a fascinating world of marine life while Peucang’s impressive forest shelters an abundance of wildlife, some of which graze and play around the lodges.

Opposite of Peucang Island across a 800 meters channel is the Ujung Kulon Peninsula with a wide variety of attraction. Peucang Island’s beach is superb for swimming and shallow snorkeling reefs are also found all along the shore.

For deeper snorkeling there are coral reefs to the east, midway between the Island and mainland. Important information : the canoeing activity is only allowed just for 300 meters.

The unique and delightful Peucang Island lies in clear blue water off the north western coastline of the National park. It is white sand beaches and coral reef shore hold a fascinating world marine life while Peucang is impressive forest shelter an abundance of wild life.

Rest of the day is free program. Over night at Fauna Eco lodge, dinner on the boat at 7 pm.

DAY 2 : PEUCANG ISLAND – CIDAON – KARANG COPONG (B,L,D)

Breakfast will be provided around 7 am on the boat where you will enjoy the beautiful morning at Peucang Island, and after we have had breakfast, we cruise to Cidaon grazing grounds, situated on the Peninsula opposite Peucang Island.

This large grasslands with an observation tower is the grazing grounds for Banteng, pigs, monkeys, peafowl and on very rare occasions Java Rhinoceros. Explore the beautiful Cidaon.

After that, we cruise back to Peucang Island where we will do for jungle trek to Karang Copong, walks and trips to Karang Copong, this pleasant walk north on Peucang Island.

Passes through towering forests to a rock archway beyond which are the reef pools of Karang Copong. The trail leads to the top of a bluff overlooking the reef from where spectacular tropical sunset can be seen. Explore Karang Copong.

Before dark we go back to the lodge. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner). Your own program, its possible for beaching, swimming, snorkeling around Peucang Island.

DAY 3 : PEUCANG – SUMUR – JAKARTA (B, L)

After breakfast on the boat, it will be your own program where you can do for leisure at Peucang Island. Then at 10 am, check out where we will cruise back to the border by wooden boat, arrival at the border, then we drive back to Jakarta hotel. End of the trip.
